Internships in Spanish Companies
+ Spanish Courses
Program Description:
EPS-Mediterraneo has designed a program for learning spanish and work placement in companies. This course is directed at university students or skilled workers that desire a total immersion into the working spanish world. This is to reinforce the knowledge of spanish with basic work communication, and to acquire a more personal experience and professional face of the future curriculum of the student with the security of an assigned mentor.

Minimal level of Spanish:
Intermediate level of Spanish (A2-B1) is recommended, although a level below will be accepted under consultation.
Prerequisites:
- Ages: from 19 to 30 years
- Maturity and responsibility: Ability to gain new experiences and obtain knowledge
- Intermediate level of spanish (A2)
- To be registered or accredited in a university or similar
- 4 week spanish course
- Civil responsibility insurance, if this is not included in the Study Centre and medical insurance then EPS can take steps to arrange these applications.
Applications:
- 8 weeks notice is needed prior to commencement of the internship. This is to arrange the time necessary and to manage the necessary documentation. For applications with limited time, please contact us.
- Curriculum vitae in spanish, 4 passport size photos, and a cover letter explaining the purpose of the application and the preferred sectors of work. An inscription needs to be completed in spanish (you are able to find this at www.epsmalaga.com), a photocopy of this inscription for the Study Centre, and a photocopy of your passport. All of this needs to be posted by mail to the EPS office prior the the internship beginnning.
- Once all the doumentation is sent and accepted, the EPS will commence to look for a company in the chosen sector.
- On completion of this process, the student will be informed of the company selected.
- The Study Centre of the selected company will then be informed, to which a corresponding internship contract will be completed between the Study Centre and the company.
Final Documentation:
- Once the contract is signed with the Study Centre and the company, it will need to be remited to EPS for inscription to the Ministerio de Trabajo Español. Without this prerequisite the student will not be able to commence the internship.
- Also needed to be arranged is: a medical certificate and photocopies of E-111 or private medical insurance for accidents and medical assistance.
Minimum Duration:
8 weeks.
Maximum Duration:
12 weeks (more time is available under consultation).
Commencement of the Practice:
After the spanish course is completed an assigned mentor will accompany the student to the selected company.

EPS comply with all the prerequisites in act with partner Programa Leonardo Da Vinci of the UE.
Spanish Course:
The student will need to complete a spanish course in preparation to improve language and to adapt to the reality of the employment world.
This course will be fulfilled before of the internship begins.
Duration:
4 weeks
Course Type:
Course 20. 20 hours of spanish classes per week (an hour of class is 50 minutes).
Days of Classes:
From Monday to Friday. Not including public holidays.
Class Timetable:
10:00am - 1:40pm (subject to change).
Levels:
- A2 (Elementary)
- B1 (Elementary - Intermediate)
- B2 (Intermediate - Advanced)
- C1 (Advanced)
- C2 (Advanced - Proficient)
Minimum students per class:
3 students.
Maximum students per class:
8 students.
Entry Prerequisites:
The student will need to take a test before arriving in Malaga to distinguish the level of spanish.
Certificates:
- Attendance (80% of class attendance is required)
- Aptitude (70% aptitude of correct answers is required)
General Conditions:
In the case that a group has less than 3 students, the school reserves the right to decrease the number of class hours per day. More conditions are available at: www.escuela-mediterraneo.com.
Commencement Dates:
Every Monday per month except during public holidays or periods of which the school is closed.
Accommodation:
During the course and internship an apartment can be reserved with a individial room or a room sharing with other students, or a individual room with a spanish family including half board.
It is necessary to reserve accommodation with Escuela Mediterraneo.
Activities:
Escuela Mediterraneo offers a complete weekly program of social and cultural activities.
